What is Beautifying Locally?

Beautifying Locally is one of our pathways, focused on shared-space improvement projects that make local parks, tracks and community areas cleaner, greener and more welcoming.

Can I volunteer or get involved?

Yes. We create opportunities for volunteers, schools, businesses and community groups to take part in practical local projects. Get in touch and we will point you to the right pathway.

Is the Wildlife Response Hub open yet?

Not yet. The Wildlife Response Hub and larger future projects are part of the long-term vision, currently being explored and developed over time.

Knowing the first few steps makes a real difference. This is general guidance to help you act safely and connect with the right support.

Tracks of Change is not an emergency rescue service. If wildlife is injured, sick, orphaned or in danger, contact a qualified wildlife rescue service, carer or vet as soon as possible.

Only if it is safe, place small animals in a ventilated box with a towel.

Call a wildlife rescue service, carer or vet for advice.

Never handle snakes, bats or large injured animals, and do not give food or water unless a carer or vet advises it.
